This gorgeous and versatile solid brass Italian bench with four swan posts is midcentury. It is marked ITALY on one of the web feet as shown on one of the photos. It has been professionally polished and a new chic upholstered and wood detachable cushion has been added. The criss cross diamond patterned top under the cushion looks great even by itself. The upholstery is a velvet cut white to off white textural crocodile pattern. There are velcro attachments underneath to remove the cushion. Tres chic! This lovely bench can have so many placements and uses in one’s home. It has good weight to it. It has a Maison Jansen style to it mixed with Italian flair.
| CONDITION | Good. It is in very great condition. There are some areas of the brass that even thought they have been professionally polished, they still retain some wear and small tiny blacken areas; as is commensurate with age. Note: this is a vintage mid century. |
